Towards these goals, we hope you find this newsletter to be informative and educational.

As the MMPR program evolves, Delta 9 will continue to provide you with a variety of resources to explore and consume medical marijuana in the best possible manner to suit your lifestyle and positively affect your life.

In this first issue of our e-newsletter, we've provided some lifestyle content and educational articles including a couple of recipes to help you explore alternative methods of ingestion when using cannabis as medicine. If you'd like more information regarding any of the topics represented in this e-newsletter, please call our Customer Care Specialists at 1-855-245-1259 or email Delta 9 anytime – info@delta9.ca.

Given the recent requirement of Health Canada to comply with the Supreme Court of Canada's legislation regarding Edibles and Extracts, we'd like to inform all of you that Delta 9 Bio-Tech is working on providing two products including a vaporizable extract product as well as a cooking product, in addition to the dried cannabis medicine that can already be purchased by our patients. We're hoping, pending regulatory approval, to have a first run of these new products available over the next 90-120 days. We're excited by these recent advancements to treat medical marijuana as medicine and we'll continue to strive to produce the highest quality medicinal cannabis products to patients across Canada.

We currently offer our patients upwards of 14 different strains of medical cannabis to choose from, with a wide range of THC and CBD profiles. If you're interested in becoming a Delta 9 patient, please visit our website to learn more or contact our Customer Care Specialists by phone or email – 1-855-245-1259 – info@delta9.ca.

We look forward to continuing to serve you,

Crack Pot Cannabutter

Butter is an ingredient that is used in so many different kinds of cooking so it makes a lot of most sense to infuse butter with THC and then use it for creating a wide range of edibles. You can use it for frying, searing or poaching and it is almost always found in desserts, cakes, pastries and other sweet dishes. We call this THC infused butter Canna Butter. Canna butter is very easy to make and even easier to use in other recipes, just like regular butter! Follow the recipe given below to make your own homemade canna butter just using a crock pot.

Ingredients

  • 3 pounds of unsalted butter
  • 6 ounces trimmed marijuana

Kitchen Tools Required:

  • Crockpot
  • Stirring spoon
  • Cheese cloth
  • A bowl or jar
  • Container for storing the prepared canna butter

Directions

Start heating the crock pot on medium heat on the stove. Next add the butter and let it slowly melt. Once the butter has melted completely, add the marijuana to it and mix it well with the spoon.

Leave the butter and marijuana mix to cook for 6 hours on the lowest heat setting. After 6 hours the canna butter will be ready as the cannabis would have infused into the butter.

Take the crock pot off the heat and strain the butter and marijuana through a cheese cloth into a bowl or jar. The marijuana infused butter will collect in the bowl or jar while the weed plant matter remains in the cheese cloth. Squeeze the cheese cloth well to drain out the last bits of the canna butter.

Pour the canna butter into a container or several different containers that can be refrigerated depending on how you wish to use the canna butter.

Your canna butter is now ready to be used and can be stored just like regular butter. One pound of canna butter can be used to make 4 dozen brownies or cookies. You can use it for many other delicious cannabis based recipes.

Crack Pot Cannabutter

Cannabis Caramels. Not only does it have a ring to it, but these caramels taste great. What I really like about these caramels is that they are fast and easy to make and they taste great while delivering your medicine. We don't need a whole lot of ingredients for this one, except for the following:

Ingredients

• 1 cup of cannabutter
• 1 cup of corn syrup
• Dash of salt
• 2 1/2 cups of brown sugar
• 14 oz of condensed milk
• 1 tsb of vanilla

Directions

So the first step is to melt your 1 cup of Canna Butter (see recipe above) in a medium sized pot on the stove. Then you are going to mix in the dash of salt and 2 1/2 cups of brown sugar. Once these ingredients have combined, stir in the milk and corn syrup. It should be noted here that you are going to want to consistently continue to stir the mixture throughout the entire process. We're working with a small amount of caramels here so it is advised to let this mixture heat up on medium to high heat for around 12 to 15 minutes, or until the mixture starts to turn into a goo and harden. It is at this point that we are going to mix in the 1 tablespoon of vanilla. Once the vanilla has been evenly dispersed, pour the caramel into a 9 x 13 inch pan and let them cool. Once these are cooled, cut wrap and serve. You can also try finishing them with some drizzled chocolate or by dusting them with sea salt.

5 Reasons You Should Vape

1. No Lighter, No Problem

Always looking for a lighter? Not anymore… On the bottom of the Titan-1, you will find the micro USB connector. As long as you have access to a power source, your vaporizer is ready to go whenever, wherever.

Also, this vaporizer eliminates open fire keeping everyone safe.

2. Taste the Flavour

With all the varieties of marihuana in market, you can become a connoisseur with this vaporizer. The Titan-1 allows for full flavour of any cannabis to truly perform. Ensuring a smooth, clean taste for a flavour experience will make you enjoy your cannabis that much more.

The odor of the vaped cannabis is dramatically reduced using the Titan-1. Allowing you to vaporize at any time, without smelling up your entire surroundings.

3. Control your Temperature

This easy to use, sleek styled vaporizer pen has three temperature settings:

  • Red (360°F [182.2°C])
  • Green (380°F [193.3°C])
  • Blue – (420°F [215.5°C])

Selecting and controlling the optimum temperature, helps release cannabinoids, terpenoids, and flavonoids.

PLEASE NOTE: Dry cannabis can combust at 392°F [200°C]. The maximum heat that cannabis can endure before starting to burn is around 230°C. This is relative to the humidity, and the moisture content of your cannabis.

4. Convenience

Having the accessibility of taking your medicine on time and in any situation is key. This vaporizer pen can be easily filled with dried marihuana. The heating chamber is easy to load allowing to control the amount of dosing you need.

5. Clean up is not problem

The by-product of the vaped cannabis is slightly brown-tinged leaves. In order to dispose of your used cannabis, it is as easy as opening up the mouthpiece, using the small rod-like (tooth pick works well), and clean out the remains into a refuse. Simple as 1-2-3.
